1600W Series - 100 step 1:1792 range programmable Filter Modules
We now keep a range of 'standard' filter modules in stock, covering a wide
frequency and application range.
24 dB/Octave and 48 dB/Octave Butterworth
24 dB/Octave and 48 dB/Octave Bessel
Anti Aliasing >-80 dB at 1.5 cut off frequency
Linear Phase, flat to cut off, >-80 dB at 3 times cut off
Most of the above are available to cover cut off frequencies from 0.1 Hz to 500
kHz from stock
- Lowpass
Highpass
- 1 Hz to > 500 kHz
- 1
: 1792 cut off range
- 100 step programmable ( 8 bit word )
- Butterworth, Bessel, Linear phase, and anti-aliasing
- Stable DC characteristics
- Typically > 80dB rejection (1:104)
- Low distortion
- High quality continuous filters-no switching frequencies!

The Kemo range of programmable filter modules are manufactured using modified parts from
the 1200 Series, stocks of 1600W modules reflect the types held for the 1200
series.
With digitally settable cutoff frequency over a 1792:1 span, this is the finest board-mounting active filter solution available today.
Lowpass, and highpass, responses suitable for anti-aliasing and general
purpose filtering held in stock. Wide dynamic range, low distortion and noise (true 16bit performance can be achieved with many models). Small size: eight pole models provide industrial-strength filtering in a
50 x 50 x 15mm (2"x2"x0.6") metal box.
Extended cutoff frequency span of 1792:1 instead of 255:1. Pin-compatible with 1600 in most applications.
Available in the standard filter responses.
Fits all Kemo carrier cards, including 6UG/1600
1600W modules give an extended range of cutoff frequencies, from 255 for the
standard 1600 filter modules, to 100 steps over a
1792 range for
the 1600W.
Typical frequency ranges are 10 Hz to 17 920 Hz and 20 Hz to 35 840 Hz. Ideal for sound and
vibration applications.
Figure shows comparison between 1600 series 255
steps and 1600W series 100 steps in 1:1792 range.
